Pro Products Ban T is a 1 lb alkaline water neutralizer and cleaner formulated for water softener maintenance and pH reduction. It is designed to remove tannins and iron from fouled water softeners and can be used as preventative maintenance in areas with moderate tannin or iron content. Ban T also removes hard water deposits, limescale, and moderate iron staining from household fixtures. For softener resin cleaning, add 4 ounces to the softener salt. For lowering pH, mix one pound with ten gallons of water and inject into the water line.
