Description

This scale prevention system uses Filtersorb SP media to help remove existing scale and help protect against future scale formation. The up-flow design uses an in/out head, and the included GAC pre-filter, 20 inch Big Blue housing, mounting bracket, bypass, and 1 inch NPT PVC adapters provide a complete system package.

Filtersorb SP changes the chemical structure of scale-forming minerals, converting dissolved calcium carbonate into stable, non-charged bonds that are carried away by water flow. It also works well ahead of RO membranes to help reduce calcium-carbonate clogging.
