Story

The Vapor Wood Lamp works through material contrast — a warm wooden shade and stem conducting the 2700K source outward rather than projecting it, the grain becoming visible in the glow. Wood as a light diffuser is an unusual choice; the material absorbs rather than reflects, giving the output a quality closer to ember than to conventional illumination. The tonal and material character is identical across both sizes — compact table lamp and tall floor lamp reading as the same object at different scales. In both registers the lamp functions as a warm point in a room, a punctuation of natural material against harder surroundings.
